This is the start menu, it appears when we press the start button, The start menu can be moved over by scrolling with the mouse or touch screen. This start menu consists of apps and widgets and also a shortcut to view the desktop.

If we look at the desktop, as shown above, it looks pretty much like windows 7, the only difference in it is that it doesn't have the start button, Also, it will support windows 7 themes.
Search Feature:
One great feature in Windows 8 pro is the search feature . There is an easy search method which will display all things as easily you are searching anything in a mobile phone or tablet-pc. Suppose we search for "Games:, the result screen will appear as follows:

On windows 8, you can run apps like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride etc. like you do on your mobiles also and play with touch or mouse. You can download these apps from Windows Store:

Windows 8 pro is designed for best gaming and graphics, it is a very light Windows, and shows a very great performance even on smaller pc's with atleast 2ghz processor, 1gb ram and 128 graphic card . If games do not work on this version, you can use the Compatibility mode for compatibility of apps upto windows 95.
